I’m Ronnie Nurss.

The essential goal for my writing is to help myself  become my Superior Self – becoming the best person I can be and creating a lifestyle that allows me to do so.  I’m interested in exploring ways to live an authentic and unconventional lifestyle, living with purposeful action aligned with my passions, and to be free from bondage of fear.  Another central theme for this blog will to not live like a sheep, and to break away from the herd.  This isn’t meant to be a tutorial for you or others to follow, and you are welcome to agree with me or not.  After all, what do I really know?

One thing I think I know for sure though is this: The only thing in life you can control is you, your actions, and what you give to the world. I aim to live life genuinely through these words.

“The Meditations” is in respect to Marcus Aurelius.  His writing has had a profound influence on my development in life.  This blog is my aim to write about that development, as well as chronicling my exploration and experimentation in creating the The Good Life.

    Ronnie,

Scanning through your blog and reading your posts and future plans, you really seem to know who you are and your head is square on your shoulders — which is more than a lot of 19-year-olds can claim.

I think I can see some influences from Tim Ferriss, Ryan Holiday and the like in your blog; I have been following them for some months now, and they have certainly inspired some of my actions and decisions.

    Keep up the good work.

    Ronnie,
Be sure to check out BrazenCareerist.com

It’s a new Gen Y-centric site with lots of Gen Y bloggers that might be of interest.

    Best,
    zak

  4. I agree with you Ronnie, there are two types of us Gen-Y’ers. The question for each of us: Which will you be?

    Great site my friend!
