My Book Shelf
Having just assembled myself my first bookshelf, the following are my favorites and strong recommendations.
The 4-Hour Workweek by Tim Ferriss - I always had a thought of what I want truly wanted to do in life ever since that kindergarten question “What do you want to do when…..”, and while reading Tim Ferriss, I basically got slapped in the face with a mix of euphoria, rapture, and Elysium. So far, my bible for lifestyle design.
The 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene - Introduced to from a friend last year, actually started reading this year…this is a book that will change the way you view the world. Makes me look back and contemplate every relationship I formed. Like Tucker Max puts it, to play the game, you gotta understand it.
Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill - Read this instead of The Secret. A book for any aspiring entrepreneur should read and study. Actually practice and work the content this book gives, and you can improve all facets of your life.
The World is Flat by Thomas L. Friedman - A book I wish every Generation Y kid could read. Gives you a new perspective of globalization and how it will affect those who see it as opportunity compared to those who will get left behind.
Never Eat Alone by Keith Ferrazzi - A book I think a lot of Generation Y should read for basic networking skills. In an ever growing competitive world, Generation Y have to remember that “its not always what you know, but who you know”, and this book is a great compliment to that advice.
Thats it for now. Check back for updates. Please feel free to email me your favorites and must reads!
